Programs

The soccer season is a Fall/Spring season. (7 games in the fall - 5 games in the spring)
Eligibility (MUST BE IN 2nd grade for 2025/26 school year).
Please Note:
The soccer program runs as a Fall/Spring season. If your child played in the Fall 2025 season, you do not need to register for the Spring season.
Your child will remain on the same team with the same coach, and there is no additional cost for the Spring season.

Waitlist
• If the program is full, please place your child on the waitlist.
• If enough participants register and a volunteer coach is secured to form a team, families will be contacted.

Format:
Boys and Girls (not co-ed) Grades 2nd-6th will play in the Eastside Soccer league, Saturday mornings against teams from East Lansing, Okemos Haslett, Mason, Williamston, Fowlerville, Dansville and Stockbridge.
• 2nd-3rd grade is 7 vs 7 with a goalie and 4th-6th grade is 9 vs 9 with a goalie.

Practices
• Practices will begin the week of April 6.
• 2 practices per week, scheduled by the coach.
• Practice times will vary between 5:30–7:30 PM, Monday–Friday.
• Each practice will be 1.25 hour.

Games
• Games begin Saturday, April 18.
• Games will be played on Saturdays between 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
• Season length: 5 weeks. 7 games in the fall 5 games in the Spring

Uniforms: All players are required to wear an official reversible jersey.
Jerseys ($25) may be purchased, in person, at the Meridian Township Parks and Recreation Office, 2100 Gaylord C. Smith Court, Haslett, Monday through Friday, 8:00-5:00pm. Credit Card only.
• Shin guards must be worn beneath the player's socks and are required in order to play.
• Please bring a ball to practice. Ball size (size "4")
• Soccer is a Fall/Spring season, you will have the same team and same coach for the Fall and Spring season.

Volunteer Coaches:
Always looking for volunteer coaches, if interested please fill out information during registration.
Deadline:
After deadline, there is not guarantee of placement unless there is room on a team) 15.00 Late Fee after deadline.
